Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 November 2026

This policy explains how Kilnvera ("we", "us") handles information collected through www.kilnvera.site and the Kilnvera pilot workspace. Contact us at ade@kilnvera.site with any question or request.

What we collect

  • Pilot and contact requests: the name, business email, company, company size, use case or topic and message you submit through our forms.
  • Uploaded firing logs: the files you upload to the workspace (kiln readings, setpoints and optional fuel, load and inspection counts), the analysis results we compute from them, the file name, size and a checksum.
  • Technical logs: our server records the time, method, path and status of each API request to operate and secure the service. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Firing logs should not contain personal data. Please remove operator names or other personal details before uploading.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a pilot.
  • To analyse your firing logs, store the results and show them back to you.
  • To maintain, secure and improve the service. We do not sell personal data or uploaded files.

Storage and service providers

Data is stored on the servers that run the Kilnvera service. As we move pilot workspaces to Amazon Web Services, uploads and results will be stored in Amazon S3 and Amazon DynamoDB in an AWS region we will name in your pilot agreement. Fonts on this website are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. If optional AI briefings are enabled, computed results (not your original file) are sent to a model on Amazon Bedrock to produce the briefing.

Retention

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and for up to 24 months afterwards unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Uploaded files and analyses are kept until you delete them in the workspace or your pilot ends, after which we delete them within 30 days unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing ade@kilnvera.site. Depending on where you are, data protection law such as the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 may give you further rights, including the right to complain to the relevant regulator.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections where the service is deployed over HTTPS, and an optional pilot access code for the workspace. No system is perfectly secure; tell us immediately if you suspect a problem.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
